Hello and welcome to another challenge at Winter Wonderland.

Louise here for our new challenge and the theme that I have chosen is:
"For A Child"

Hopefully, it is an easy one for you all - we would like to see a Christmas project that any child will love!

Please remember that it is Christmas projects only.

We are sponsored this fortnight by Sasayaki Glitter, who are actually located in Melbourne Australia and are offering 1 digi stamp to the winner.

You can find them on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/au/shop/SasayakiGlitter and they have a challenge blog too: http://sasayakiglitter.blogspot.com. They are also on Facebook.

Here is the inspiration from the Snowflakes DT. We always appreciate a visit so if you click the name on top of the image, you can hop over and leave them a comment. Also this is a good way to find out if they have combined their challenge with any others, which could give you some ideas!

I do hope you'll play along in our challenge. We look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your gorgeous creations. Please be sure to post a link back to the Winter Wonderland blog in your blog post in order to be eligible for this weeks prize! Thursday evening on the 30th of March () is the deadline for your creation to qualify for the prizes.

Anything Christmas Goes - Tribute Challenge

Hello and a warm welcome to another challenge at Winter Wonderland - it's Helen here to share a special challenge with you all.

As regular followers of our challenge will know, our blog owner and coordinator Eileen sadly passed away recently.  This challenge is our tribute to her and all the hard work and time she put into running the challenge blog.  As it's a special challenge, both teams are joining in.

And so the theme for this challenge is simply:

Anything Christmas Goes

..... so we want to see all your Christmas projects!

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

and the prize on offer is 3 digi stamps of the winner's choice

Little Claire Designs is based on the Wirral in the north west of England and is owned and run by Steve and Gill.  They sell a range of great stamps, digis, outline stickers, ready to use images, papers and other goodies.
You may well have seen Steve at craft shows up and down the country and most recently you will have seen him on Hochanda for Little Claire's debut show.  Steve is back on the TV again on Monday 20 March for two shows!

They also host regular craft classes (run by me!!) here on the Wirral - take a look at the website if you fancy a fun day out with good company and lots of card making.

Here's the inspiration from the DT.  We always appreciate a visit so if you click the name you can hop over and leave them a comment and also find out if they have combined their challenge with any others, which could give you some ideas.

Sad Post

This is a very sad post for us all on the DT here at Winter Wonderland.  Earlier we told you that Eileen, our blog owner and co-ordinater, was ill in hospital.  We did think she was on the mend but unfortunately she took a turn for the worse and very sadly passed away on Sunday morning.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Everybody who knew Eileen personally talks about her sense of fun, her many funny stories and that she was a “party animal” who loved life.

She was a very talented card maker and we all looked forward to seeing her creations on our challenge blog, and also on her personal blog.

Eileen worked very hard to keep this blog ( and her teamies!) running smoothly and she will be sorely missed by us.  In tribute to her we have decided to carry on with the blog and hope to run it very much in the way that she did.

Rest in Peace Eileen – we will miss you!
